This original acrylic painting is painted on a 24″ x 24″ wood panel in vivid violets, summer yellows and siennas.
I am constantly dreaming of spending a whole month in Tuscany. Renting a whole house. A Vespa. In this dream I become Italian. My gluten intolerance suddenly disappears and I eat pasta every day and drink amazing red wine every evening. I paint rows of Cyprus trees in Plein Air.
I decided not to wait. This is the first of a series of paintings celebrating my dream of escaping to Italy. It’s called Tuscan Warmth.
